CLRA is a national-level organisation dedicated to strengthening governance institutions to promote transparent, accountable, and participatory democracy. It began its work in 2004 by engaging Members of Parliament and key government officials and was registered as a Trust. Over the years, CLRA has built a strong reputation for its expertise in legislative advocacy, public affairs, and institutional support for parliamentarians.
The Trust comprises seven Trustees. A Board of Trustees (BoT), consisting of five members, serves as the Executive Committee in which the Trust’s responsibilities are vested. The BoT appoints the Executive Director, who leads CLRA’s executive functions. Mr. Vinod Bhanu is the founding Executive Director of CLRA.
