The Parliamentarian’s Group for Children (PGC) is a pioneering initiative launched by CLRA with the support of UNICEF India (http://unicef.in/OurPartners/Partner/4) to encourage Parliamentarians to advocate for the cause of children’s rights. CLRA creates a knowledge bank for MPs to access a wide range of child-related knowledge and information, ensuring informed participation in policymaking and making them champions of child rights in India.
The PGC was launched in August 2013, and Ms Vandana Chavan, MP, is its Convener.
